WHAT?

Painting by playing with selfmade poi in a cube covered with old collected fabrics, producing as much art as possible in a very short time. Additionally some carton circles will be fixed inside the tent/cube to work as stencils and to be painted by juggling aswell.

After the life painting act the produced artwork can be purchased on the spot by the audience.

WHY?

·         to share the passion for movement and colour

·         to illustrate the increasing pressure and existential fear of artists creating non-commercial artwork. A lot oft hem have to deal with an existance between admiration and denial, between the lack of organisation skills and creative output

·         to experiment and search for new ideas for painting by juggling

WHO?

Vrovro Geiger, performance artist combining fine arts and performance,

member of C³-the Curious Circus Collective in Vienna,

studied at the academy of fine arts in Vienna,

since 2005 doing art projects in Chile, Ecuador, Westbengal, Nepal, Austria, Italy, Germany,etc.

A lot of artists in residence at the Mad Circus Convention in Graz 2014 have supported the project to make this idea coming true – thanks a lot, especially to Kai, Mark and Francesco from „Slow Forward“!
